Braxton highschool graduation

 May 29th 2026

Today my baby boy graduated high school. 🎓💙

It feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital and everyone was fighting over who got to hold him and snuggle him. Now here we are, watching him begin the next chapter of his life. While our role may be changing from guiding every step to cheering from the sidelines, we will always be his biggest fans.

I am so excited to see what the future holds for him, and I hope I get to be a part of it every step of the way.

Watching him walk across that stage today was incredible. Tears were shed, but mostly happy tears. It was a day filled with pride, gratitude, memories, and so much love.

He has faced so much, including the loss of his best friend and sister, Kenzie. Yet he has continued to move forward with strength, resilience, and determination.

After the ceremony, he told us there had been an empty seat next to him where he was sitting. He said that seat was meant for Kenzie. Hearing that brought tears to my eyes. While we couldn't see that empty seat from where we were sitting, he could—and that was all that mattered. I have no doubt she was there with him today, celebrating this milestone right alongside him.

Braxton, we are so proud of the young man you have become. No matter where life takes you, we will always be in your corner, cheering you on and loving you every step of the way.

We love you so much and couldn't be more proud of you. Congratulations, Graduate. 🎓💙
