So proud of this girl. Myleigh has been waiting so long to get baptized, she was waiting for Makenzie to get out of the hospital. But things went a different way, and not the way we wanted. But I remember Makenzie telling Myleigh before she passed away that she would be at her baptism know matter what, and I know she was there watching her.
To be honest I was dreading this day and didn't want to put a date on it. So I kept putting it off when our bishop kept asking us if we have a date in mind.
Myleigh was so excited and kept asking when she could get baptized, so I finally agreed on a date. I knew it would be a hard day with out having Makenzie here physically, and it was. But Myleigh wanted Makenzie to be apart of it, so when she saw a clip of Kenzie when she was little singing "When I am Baptized" , she asked if it could be played as one of her musical numbers. So thankful we came a crossed it so we could see her sweet face and hear her sweet voice at her baptism.
Myleigh is now a New Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints.
