State champs Braxton Feb 28th 2026

πŸ†πŸ€STATE CHAMPS!!! πŸ€πŸ† Congratulations to the boys basketball team for placing 1st in the mountain division in the Utah School Sports Association state tournament! We’re proud of the way you showed grit and determination, while staying true to yourselves. What a great season!

Tyler Madsen and I are beyond proud of Braxton and his basketball team. Most of these boys have played together for the past three years, fighting for a championship title — and this season, they got it. 76-70

They worked so hard for this moment, and what a way to send him off in his senior year. Beating their rival, DaVinci Academy, made it even sweeter. It was intense and heated, but they pulled out the win. Braxton finished the night with 13 points and multiple assists — stepping up when it mattered most. And yes, there were definitely a few tears shed (by some of us in the stands).

I’m really going to miss watching Braxton play ball, but we are so grateful we got to witness his dedication, his victories, and the memories he made throughout his high school years. What a journey it’s been. ❤️πŸ€

Braxton Basketball senior night

Tonight was senior basketball night, and I honestly can’t believe we’re already here. Watching all the seniors start tonight was so special, and Braxton absolutely shined. He had an incredible game—13 points, so many assists, blocks, and played with so much heart. The team won by a landslide, and it was such a joy to watch.

I’m really going to miss these days of sitting in the stands watching him play the game he loves. So proud of the player he’s become—but even more proud of the young man he is. ❤️

Myleigh's Tonsillectomy

Today Myleigh had her tonsillectomy, and she did amazing. I know she’ll be so glad to never deal with tonsil stones again, and I’m so proud of how brave she was.

I’m really grateful Tyler, her dad, was able to come with us. Having him there for her—and for me—meant more than words.

Me, on the other hand… I wasn’t quite as strong on the inside. When they took her back to the OR and then led us into a consult room to wait, it all hit me at once. Even though it was a quick and routine surgery, all the feelings came rushing back from Kenzie’s hospital stays and surgeries.

Hospitals have a way of bringing the past right back to the surface, even when you think you’re okay. Today was a reminder that some moments stay with you forever, tucked quietly in your heart, until something opens the door again.

So thankful for a smooth surgery, a healthy girl, and the people who show up when it’s hard. πŸ’”πŸ€
