Christmas

Christmas was pretty low key this year. I actually didn't even put up any Christmas decorations. Kenzie made a few and I borrowed a little tree from Jerica so at least we had something to put presents under.  This year Jerica and I made homemade stockings for our kids this year. I thought they turned out pretty cute. I hope the kids cherish them for ever. They took a while to do haha!!

This year I decided to try something new for the kids on Christmas Eve but it didn't really work because we had Ashleigh and Jackson this year but Tyler let Alicia take the kids for a while to do something with her and her family and they didn't get home until almost 9:30.I made a box with there Christmas Eve pajamas in them with a movie and treats that they were suppose to watch on Christmas Eve but since they didn't get home until late, they just opened it got pajamas on and went to bed so Santa could come. I will try it next year and hopefully it works out. We woke up and the kids were so excited they couldn't wait.

After we dropped off Ashleigh and Jackson we went to my parents house and had Christmas dinner and opened more presents. This year Mikey and his girlfriend came down with Robert.

This year I got my parents a ornament that has a picture of our family and a picture of Mike, Jessica and Melissa on each side of it. I also got it engraved with families are forever!!

Kenzie at 8

8 years ago I gave birth to one of the most amazing girls ever.  I can not believe Kenzie is 8 already time has flown by so fast. She has been such a delight she has grown to be a little young lady. she has made me stronger and for that and I thank her.  I am so grateful that she is still with us and we are able to celebrate her birthday. We didnt do a birthday party this year since she is getting baptized in a few weeks. So she got a present and a cookies and creme pie!!

Makayla's 4 month check up

Makayla had her 4 month check up she is 10lbs even. She is still tiny but on the charts at the 5%. She got a few shots but did really good. I cant believe how fast she is growing. I just love all the stages kids go through.  She smiles and has a little chuckle her and there. She is so special and helps complete this family.

We finally did Makayla's Blessing. Shontel did Logan's the same day so we went to there ward first. Then went back to grandpa Madsen's house since there were 3 hours in between.
We went to our church Tyler has been a little nervous and was having a hard time figuring out what to say, but he did such a great job as always. The spirit was their.  I am so thankful for the priesthood he holds and that I can call upon him anytime for a blessing either for the kids or myself. Grandma and Grandpa Lehwalder, Grandpa Madsen, Grandma Jones, Tanner, Shontel and Amorim, Neal and Jerica, Dustin, Shauna Quist came. After we had a little luncheon to end the special occasion.

Halloween

 Halloween was low key but fun. Tyler had to work this year so my mom and dad came over and went trick or treating with us. (mainly to help me drag the kids around) Thanks mom and dad. We went trick or treating for about 2 hours and the kids got a ton of candy. Kenzie dressed up as a evil witch Makayla was her Black cat. Kenzie wanted me to dress as a Witch also so Myleigh was my black cat and Braxton well he changed his mind a lot first he was Frankenstein to all our Halloween parties we went to then on Halloween night he decided to be Indiana Jones. Fun times.

Braxton 6 year check up Myleigh's 18 Month Check up And Makayla's 2 Month check up!!

Braxton is getting so big he weighs 40 lbs. He didn't get any shots this time except the flu shot since he got his kindergarten shots last year. His vision and hearing is good.

Myleigh is 20.2lbs and is in the 5% in weight and her height is 30.5 which she is in the 15% for heights. And  her head size is 17.3 in. All she got was her flu shot and she didn't like it.

Makayla is now 9.3 lbs in the 10% and her length is 21.5 in and in the 10% her head is 15.1 in.  She got her 2 month shots she did so good it makes me sad when they get there shots.

Make A Wish Tea Party!!!

This year we got invited to the Make A Wish Royal Tea Party. Makenzie in particular was super excited. She dressed up as Belle, Braxton dressed up as a prince and Myleigh also dressed up as a princess they were so cute. They had about 20 ladies there dressed as princesses and 3 guys dressed as prince's. We arrived their and they had a red carpet and announced all the prince and princess as they arrived.
They had a few games and treats and juice in a tea cup. Then came the Royal ball all the girls wanted to dance with Braxton and Kenzie got asked to dance by Prince Charming!!!

They had a toilet paper contest of who could wrap up the prince the best. I think each group one haha!!
It was a fun day Thank you Make a Wish for all the fun activities you do for these kids.

I can not believe my baby boy is 6 years old. I remember bringing him home from the hospital and here we are 6 years later he is such a sweet boy I just love him.
He is such a big help and his little sisters just love him he can make they laugh just by jumping up and down. Thanks for being you Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you!!!

Makayla's 2 week check up

Makayla had her 2 week check up already. Time flies that's for sure! She is now 7 lbs yeah she grew, I was so worried I wasn't getting enough milk for her. The only thing that she got pokes are on her foot to check her blood for the normal stuff they check for. She is the sweetest thing ever we just love her!!!

School 2013

This year may be a little more challenging with a new born and a toddler and 2 kids being home schooled wish me luck!! Braxton starts kindergarten and Kenzie is now in 2nd grade!! I am always excited to see them accomplish new things so hopefully I do them Justice and be the best teacher I can be for them!!!!

First Bath

 I am so excited to announce our newest member of our family. She was born on August 12, 2013. She weighed 6.6 lbs and 17 1/2 in longs. A healthy beautiful girl, we love to hear that everything looks good and healthy. We had a few visitors the first couple of days we were there.

Then on Wednesday she came down with a fever of 100.3 which they take serious because well she is a new born. So they took her to the nursery and did test on her and she ended up getting an I.V in her head, it was heart breaking to see her like that. So in order for me to see her or anyone else we had to go to the nursery and hold her there.

I am so thankful for the priesthood. Tyler, Jay, and Tanner came to give her a blessing and the next day all the results came back normal. We ended up staying until Friday and got released that morning. She went home with no name because we still couldn't decided between Paislee or Makayla. Then a few days later we decided to go with Makayla. That name has always been in the running of our other girls so we decided we should use it.
She is a pretty good baby, loves to be held. She gets fussy at times which is a little different from our other kids but she completes our family. I am so thankful that the Lord sent us another sweet angel to guide and protect.
Tyler wants her to be our last which is hard for me, but it was a pretty hard pregnancy so we shall see what the future holds for our family.

35 and 36 week check up

I am every week now its coming to the home stretch. On my 35 week check up we listened to the baby heart beat it was around 135 and going strong. This time I gained 2 lbs now I am at 126 lbs.
On my 26 week check up In 1 week I gained 4 lbs and I am now up to 130lbs. So far I have gained 32 lbs lets see what I end up gaining this pregnancy the last few days I have felt so huge and can barely walk for a long time I can totally tell I am at the ending. Her heart beat was still around 135 this time.  This pregnancy has been a roller coaster for sure but I am excited to meet our little princess real soon. I am still nervous though with a 16 month old who still doesn't sleep through the night and then having a new born, this momma is going to be one tired zombie for sure. Wish me luck!!!

Myleigh's 15 month check up!!

Today was Myleigh's 15 month check up. I can't believe she is already getting so big. She weighs 19.1 lbs and is in the 5% she went up from the 3% YEAH. Her height is 29.5 in long which when she was born she was 19.8 in long she is in the 20% for her height so at least she is on the charts. She got 3 shots which she did ok she cried before they even poked her but then she settled down a little after her pokes!!!!

33 weeks and counting

I had my 33 week appointment I didn't gain any weight. So I am still at 124 lbs. I also got to listen to the babies her heart rate it was 140. So exciting and so surreal I love it. I also found out that since I have C-sections my deliver date will be August 12, so I have 6 more weeks till we get to meet her!

I also had my Ultra Sound to check my placenta to make sure it isn't attached to my Scar from previous C-Sections. I am happy to say that it is 3 in' away from my scar so it isn't attached so that is good news. I was able to see the baby again which is always fun. She weighs 4lbs 3oz and her heart rate was at 170 since she was moving so much. I cannot believe that its only 6 more weeks until she is here, its crazy exciting. Their is apart of me that is ready and another part that is nervous just cause I just had a baby only 16 months ago when she arrives. And C-sections are not my favorite it takes me about a month to recover and the pain to go away but having a sweet baby will be worth it all!!!

31 weeks

I am now going every 2 weeks. I Gained 4 lbs now weighing in at 124 lbs, got to listen to the babies heart beat she sounds so perfect. I already love her. We do have 2 names picked out but we are going to wait until we see her then decide. Next visit will be the same wonder what I will weigh in at next time?

29 Weeks

Another month has gone by and I am 29 weeks. It was a short but sweet visit. I gained 5 more lbs in a month and I am now weighing in at 120 lbs. So far I have gained 22 lbs this pregnancy. I got to listen to the babies heart beat and it sounds perfect 154 bpm. My next visit is in 2 weeks, that's right I am now going in every 2 weeks.

Highlights on some of Myleigh's accomplishments!!

Myleigh is getting so big. She is just walking everywhere now, you will very rarely see her crawl anymore. She likes to fold her arms during pray most of the time. She is now saying some words, her favorite which I absolutely love is "See Ya" while waving bye. Here are other words she says now this past month. Jerica her aunt (derda), Love you (wov you) Seems to be only to dad :). Thank you (tant tu) Neal (neew), Kenzie (tenzy), Adaly ( she says Adaly), Grandma (mama), Brother (Bru bru), Ashleigh (Ash) and of course mama and dadda and baba (bottle).
I love that she is starting to talk, it is so fun to watch and hear her grow and learn new things...

Myleigh is now walking everywhere!!

Once I posted that video a little over a week ago about Myleigh walking. A few days later Myleigh just took off and loves to walk everywhere. very rarely will you see her crawling now. She is growing up way to fast for this mom but I love to see her little waddle, she is so cute and gets compliments everywhere we go.

Well I think Myleigh might be on the go pretty quick with out losing her balance. She is doing so good at walking and standing up on her own. She is getting so big it kind of makes me sad but I am excited for that toddler age and her waddling around. It will also be much easier when the baby comes to have her walk so I wont have to carry two of them :)

OK! The sweetest thing happened this morning. Myleigh is such a daddy's girl for sure and loves when he comes home from work. Her eyes just gleam with excitement and the first thing she wants him to do is pick her up. Anyways, this morning Myleigh woke up about 6:45 a.m and was sitting up in bed and Tyler's alarm went off and when Tyler got up Myleigh was so happy to see him and watched him get ready. Once Tyler gave her a kiss goodbye and walked out the bedroom door she started crying for her dad. So I got up with her to take her to the kitchen so she could say goodbye and she just wanted daddy to hold her. So Tyler gave her another hug and she gave him a kiss (which she doesn't give kisses often) and Tyler walked out the door. Myleigh cried for a little bit but we got back in bed and snuggled for a while.
Myleigh is such the sweetest little baby I no and I am so thankful for her. I just love that she loves her daddy so much it melts my heart!!!

21 weeks, feto echo and 25 week check up

I must have forgotten to write about my 21 week appointment. It went good the babies heart beat sound perfect, which I always like to hear. I cannot believe I gained 8 lbs in a month I am at 113 lbs now. Over night it seemed like my  stomach just popped out of know where.
I also had another Feto echo done at my doctor's since the last time they were not able to see everything that they needed to see. But everything looks good so far.
About a week later I finally had my Feto echo done for her heart. To check for heart defects. I always get so nervous about it I would rather no before hand then have a surprise like Makenzie's heart was. But yeah for good news. What the Dr could see, everything looked good as to what they can see obviously they couldn't see some of the heart because she is still so little but it gives me hope that her heart will be healthy.
Now for my 25 week check up, I can not believe I am already at 25 weeks this pregnancy has gone by so quickly maybe because It's been busy around here. My 25 week check up went good. I did the diabetes test so hopefully that comes good. This time around I gained 2 lbs so I am at 115 lbs.
I also talked to My Dr. about having more kids since I have C-sections and this will be my 4th and she said that she has to wait until she can see inside me to see how everything looks. I am also going to have another ultra sound at the end of this pregnancy to make sure my placenta isn't attached to my uterus. So I pray that is isn't or it could cause me having a hysterectomy if that was the case . It is always scary to me to have C-Sections. Then my lovely husband read an article on KSL about a lady who suddenly past away after her 6th C-Section, her placenta was attached to her uterus and she ended up hemorrhaging and passed away. Now I get to think of that. I no when it is your time to go the Lord will take you in anyway. I no that by experiences unfortunately. So if everything looks good the door may be open to at least one more if Tyler will go for it!!!!

Easter

Ha yes I know I am a little late but its been busy here. We love Easter here it is a good reminder of the Resurrection of our savior. Yes we do Easter baskets and egg hunts and dye eggs. But still keep Christ in Easter.
