Makenzie's Baptism

I can not believe this day has arrived . I have often wondered if I would see Makenzie get baptized. Sounds horrible I know but with a kid that has medical problems its always in the back of your mind unfortunately. But I am so thankful that she is doing well and that she is here and we were able to see her get baptized on her special day. I am so grateful that she has chosen to get baptized and wants to follow Christ.
It was such a spiritual day, I didn't cry as much as I thought I was going to.  Makenzie asked Shontel to talk about the holy ghost and Tanner to play Heavenly Father loves me on the piano.
When we went to the baptismal font I was able to take Kenzie back, get her dressed in her white jump suit. Tyler was able to baptize her, she did get dunked twice, I guess dad thought she needed that extra blessing!!!
While she was getting dressed back in her beautiful white dress, every one wrote on a piece of paper about something they wanted to say to her. Then she got confirmed by many family and friends. After we had a luncheon at the church, thanks to my cousin Tracy and his wife Aubrey! It turned out to be a magical day. Then to top it off we got cold stone ice cream!!
