Myleigh's 7th grade play

So proud of Myleigh! She starred in her first play at school and did amazing — dancing a duet, singing a solo part, and serving as the narrator. She was basically in almost every scene!

To top it off, all of her siblings came and supported her. I'm sure Kenzie was watching and cheering her on from the other side as well. Some of her church friends also came to watch.

It was such a wonderful evening, watching Myleigh shine on the stage. 

Happy Easter

 Easter means so much to me. It's a reminder of the incredible gift Jesus Christ gave each of us—hope, healing, and the promise of forever. Because of Him, death is not the end. I hold on to the beautiful truth that I will see my sweet daughter again. That promise brings me peace and fills my heart with love every single day.

Braxton patriarchal blessing 4/13/2025

What a beautiful Sunday afternoon it was. You met with Brother Steven Nelson, the Patriarch, along with your mom and dad. He gave you the most beautiful blessing, full of promises and love from our Savior, Jesus Christ. If you continue to live righteously, those blessings will come true, and you will have the most amazing life through Him.

When the Patriarch finished giving you the blessing, the first thing he said to us was, "You have a special boy," and he started tearing up. It's something we already knew, but it was so touching to hear after such a sweet and powerful blessing.

It was also Palm Sunday, which marks the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem. What a special day to receive your patriarchal blessing!

We had to go back the next day because the Patriarch forgot to bless you with your line of lineage.

Happy Birthday to Myleigh. I can't believe you're 13. You're such a strong, spunky, beautiful girl inside and out, not to mention a fierce girl whom I love so much. I hope you have a fun birthday. This was taken last night before you turned 13, but we didn't have service to post it.

Myleigh had a fun birthday; she went camping at Goblin Valley with the youth in our ward, and she wanted cheesecake to share with everyone.

Myleigh's birthday week celebration continues. She wanted highlights in her hair for her birthday present, so she got that done on Wednesday; then we went to lunch, and she looks so grown up. Then today, she wanted Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner. I can't believe how much Braxton and Myleigh look alike. She rode the saddle, and they wished her a happy birthday. We came home, and she opened presents from some of her siblings. I think she had a fun birthday celebration. We love you Myleigh.
