We now have a teenager living in the house! Help us all. Makenzie is really a great daughter, we love her so much, every year with her is a blessing. This year we just went out to dinner for her birthday. We hope you had a wonderful birthday beautiful girl! Happy birthday we love you!

Braxton age 11

Braxton is 11, time flies by so fast. He is growing up to become an amazing young man. He is obsessed with basketball and is so good at it. Every day he goes outside and plays basketball.

First day of school 2018-2019

Well we survived summer without anyone dead lol. The kids drove each other crazy almost everyday.
This year Makenzie is stating 7th grade, she will be going to a different distance program called Canyon Grove Academy, they go up to 8th grade. She is pretty excited that it will be in an actual school where she can eat school lunch and have her own locker. She attends on Thursday's for there Epic days.
Braxton-5th grade, Myleigh-1st grade, and Makayla, yes Makayla is starting Kindergarten oh my where did the time go?
They will still be attending Davinci Academy distance program, and I will still be teaching on specials day on Tuesday's. Their Epic days are on Monday's so I will be driving a few time a week between schools.
I hope I can continue to teach them and they learn a few things so they can be prepared for whenever they decide to go to public school or College. Here is to 2018-2019 school year!!!

Makayla had her kindergarten check up yesterday. She weighs 33 lbs (8%) and her height is 38.25 (1%) my little peanut. She is kind of excited for kindergarten, but a little nervous.
Makenzie had her 7th grade check up and her weight is 50 lb ( 1%). She hit her 50 lb mark yay!!. And her height 48.75 (1%) she said she is so not ready for junior high.
And Myleigh had her yearly check up for 1st grade. And she weighs 39 lbs (10%) and height is 43.5 (9%) and she is super excited to start school.
Braxton will get his next month after his birthday.

Makayla's 5th birthday party

Makayla has been wanting a birthday party since Myleigh had her 5th birthday party. She wanted a water slide bounce house. I looked on line for weeks looking for bounce house rentals, man are they pricey. I did find a pretty cheap one compared to other sites. Makayla was looking at a caterpillar one. So I made invitations with butterflies on them, because that was the one I was going to rent.

My lovely Nephew Logan also wanted to have a water slide bounce house, so Shontel decided to just buy one for them, and she was nice enough to let us use it. Saved me some money!!!

Since we didn't spend money on the bounce house, she wanted to have her favorite snacks so her friends can enjoy her favorite snacks with her. 

I was so happy that the weather was nice, the days and week before it was cold and dreary, and it wouldn't have been fun if it wasn't warm. Makayla and her friends had so much fun, between our playground, and the water slide and them just playing with each other. 

Makayla had so many friends show up she was so excited to have it be her day, and to spend it with friends and family. 5 is a big number!!!

side note: This was the first time making a cake with ganoche, it was actually quit easy to make, and kind of fun to put it on the cake. The ice cream part kind of kicked my butt though, until I figured out that I should have just put it on the cake the cover it with the ganoche, rather then trying to cover it with the ganoche then putting it on the cake.

Makayla age 5

Makayla my baby girl is 5 years old. Time really needs to slow down. She was so excited to turn 5, and to start Kindergarten this year. She is my snuggle bug, and loves to be held even though she is 5, I just love it.

End of 2017-2018 school year

Another school year has come and gone, my kids did amazing this year. But we are all so ready for summer to be here. Less stress, no schedule because that isn't who I am. We got season passes to lagoon for Christmas this year so we plan on using them a lot during summer. Tyler also bought us a projector and a big screen, so we plan on having outdoor movie nights with friends. Here comes the Sun, swimming, late nights, and play dates!!!

Happy Birthday Smiley Myleigh, you are growing up to be a dependent girl, who will conquer this world with grace. You are a feisty, sassy, funny girl. She loves to be the boss and she will let you know. She is so smart and loves all thing babies.
