Christmas

Christmas is a fun time of year Thanksgiving comes and goes and Christmas is right around the corner.
I started doing a Christmas Eve box last year which usually consist of the traditional pajamas, I try and find a movie to add in there with popcorn and candy. This year I found some blankets with a stuffed animal connected to it which was added to the box this year.
We haven't had snow this year, it has been in the 50, 60's so far this winter which is crazy but the perfect weather for me anyways. But you have to have snow for Christmas and when we woke up Christmas morning there was a blanket of snow it was absolutely beautiful it felt like Christmas. This year we went simple and the kids all got something they really loved.
My parents came over for brunch, and later that evening we went to Tyler's dad's house and had Christmas dinner there.
Christmas is such a joyous time to remember the savior and his birth.

Festival of trees

We absolutely love the festival of trees. It is a yearly tradition for us especially because it is near and dear to our hearts. Every cent that comes in is all for Primary Children's Hospital, and if you no our family we visit the hospital regularly with Makenzie.
Charsty came down so we went with her Shontel, Jennifar and Jerica.This year we tried to find the tree's that we new the families that did it or were members of IHH. It is always a fun event to go to this year we stayed all day we got there around 11 and didn't leave until 530 but the kids had so much fun!!!

Halloween

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

                                                                                                                                                                            Halloween was fun this year the kids dressed up cute I made Kenzie and Braxton's costume's this year. They wanted to be Minion's it was fun to make. I had to make Braxton's overalls because for the life of me I couldn't find overalls his size. So thankfully to you tube I was able to go to the DI buy 2 pairs of pants cut one for the overall part and sew it to the other pants. It turned out pretty good I think and now he has an extra pair of pants and Kenzie got some shorts from the left over pants that I cut up. Myleigh and Kayla were poodle girls I just went through the kids dress up box and found some matching outfits that my neighbor gave us a while back it worked out perfect.

My parents came over and went with us since Tyler had to work. and did they have fun we went for about 3 hours and got candy to last till next Halloween!!!!

Makayla 15 months

Makayla is growing way to quick but it has been a blast to watch her grow and learn new things..She finally started to say DaDa which Tyler is loving every minute of it.
SHe had her 15 month appointment and she is now 28 in long and 17 lbs 3 oz. she is in the 5th percentile. She got 3 shots and new it was coming she started crying before they even poked her but once she got poked she only cried for a few minutes

Kayla is walking

Makayla is walking at the age of 14 months and it is so sweet to see her cute littleness walking around and chasing the kids. She has been such a blessing and its been so fun to watch her grow and learn new things.

Braxton is 7

My baby boy is 7. He is becoming such a sweet little gentlemen. I love him so much. He loves playing with friends helping around the house, He is my super good cleaner.

This year I decided to throw him a surprise birthday party. So I invited family and some of his friends and Tyler took him out for a little bit until everyone got here.

SURPRISE!!! He opened the door and his face was priceless he was in such shock. I loved it he was so excited to see his friends, this was the first year he had friends over for his birthday. Since there were so many people we decided to move it over to the park.

We had a piñata and the kids played at the park and had some yummy snacks. Hopefully none of them went home sick from all the candy they ate!

California Trip

The kids have been looking forward to this camping trip for a while. It was with Tyler's side of the family aunts and uncles as well.  I on the other hand was very nervous about it Tyler couldn't get the time off because of our business being so new and that being our soul income it makes it hard to pay someone right to cover it. Tyler really wanted us to go so I told him if Jerica goes we will go because she would ride with us because Neal couldn't get the time off either.

We left the morning of the 9th and I mean morning 4 am. I drove the whole way since Jerica was pregnant I felt it would be hard for her so 12 hours later we made it and the kids did pretty good.
We arrived and set up camp thanks to the guys. Yeah for other wives husbands.
We went to the beach that day and the beach was so amazing and fun. actually we went to the beach most of the days I believe we only missed one day.

During the trip we went to a light house and on our way back Jerica and I saw the San Diego temple off the freeway and decided to stop and walk around it. It is amazing how they look different on the outside but you can feel the same spirit at them all.

Since we were there on Makayla's 1st birthday I decided to get a yummy Costco cake and have a little celebration for her.

While we were there we went to a couple of different beaches. Braxon loved boggy boarding so I decided I should try it only if shontel went with me because I had no idea what I was doing. It was so fun except when you drink a gallon of salt water then I had enough haha!!

A week later it was time to come home. The van was having issues and when we got to a gas station the van had leaked so much fluid it was scary not knowing anything about cars but Tyler told us to keep filling the coolant. Thankfully our prayers were answered and we made it home.

The next day Tyler looked at the van and one of the cooling fan actually melted off. Tyler was surprised we made it home or the van didn't blow up.

All in, in all it was a fun trip but I will probably not do it again with out Tyler, 2 babies and no dad to help there were a lot of crying haha!

 

 

Summer is over, School begins!!!

I can not believe summer has come to an end already. School is here and yes I am still home schooling. Braxton Is in 1st grade and Kenzie is in 3rd grade where did the time go? It is crazy to think that they are going up so quickly and learning so much. I love that I get to stay home and teach them and watch them learn and excel in school and see all the accomplishments they get to achieve.  I am so excited for a new school year and a whole new

Makayla is 1

I seriously can not believe that Makayla is 1 now. My heart is a little sad I was secretly hoping she would stay a baby forever. Since we were in California for her birthday on the beach I might add, we celebrated her birthday a week later.
It was a little party only family came over but she was spoiled rotten and got lots of cute clothes.

Kayla has had so many Milestones lately another one is she has mastered pulling herself  up. Now she can pull up on the couch and chairs and what ever comes in her path. Next thing we will no she will be walking and become a toddler. I am so not ready to let my baby grow up.

MaMaMa!!!

I love when my kids start calling me Mama. It is a proud Mommy moment. My heart just melts when my kids call me mama! Kayla started calling me Mama I love it so much, most of the time it is when she is sad and wants me but hey I will take it and cuddle her back to happiness. It is such a joy and pleasure to be called mom. One of my greatest honor is being blessed with children. I love them all so much!

end of school year!!

We made it another school year of homeschooling at the end it got pretty hard with kids fussing but we survived and are very excited for summer. Not only are my kids excited but I am excited this mama needs a break from school. I have loved watching my kids grow and learn it is a big achievement for all of us that they are doing great at home.
Yeah for summer let the play groups and outside play begin.

Kaylas first tooth

Oh man my little girl is getting big. She was the first kid who got their very first tooth before the age of 1. We love her so much. Its a bitter sweet milestone. I want her to stay little forever!!!

Mommy and Daughter Tea Party!!

Our ward had a mother daughter tea party for their activity day. It was so fun to be able to watch Kenzie interact with other kids, she doesn't get it to much with her weak immune system.
Everyone was invited to wear church clothes or dress up like princess. The night consisted of a talent show which Kenzie was in a skit and a dance. They showed a slide show of what they have been doing through out the year which was fun to watch. and on top of that they had lots of yummy treats. It was a fun night with my little girl!

Memorial Day

Memorial day was a blast this year. We got fishing licenses and went up Kamas to go fishing. It was the first time the little ones went fishing. We went with Neal and Jerica and the neighbors. 
 The hike up to the lake was very long and difficult for the kids, but once we got to the lake the kids fished like pros they were catching fish left and right. I believe the kids caught 13 fish. So after we came home and grilled them up and ate every single one, delicious.

Braxton lost his first tooth

Ever since Makenzie has lost her first tooth Braxton has been waiting to loose a tooth only because he wanted the tooth fairy to come and give him money. The day finally came when his tooth got so loose that he was able to pull it out! He was so excited and for his first tooth he got $5. Man the tooth fairy is rich these days haha!! Hopefully he doesn't expect it with all his teeth or he may be trying to just pull them out with pliers.

Kayla is crawling!!!

Kayla is crawling all over the place she is now mobile. Look out world, she is such a blessing in our lives and is getting so big. We love you Makayla!!

Myleigh at 2

Myleigh is 2 years old. She had her 2 year appointment she is weighing in at 24.6 lbs and her height is 34.8 in. She is becoming such a ambitious rambunctious little girl who loves to play with her brothers and sisters. She is a non stop talker even in her sleep she likes to talk.
