Kenzie has the sweetest spirit about her last night she didn't want to go to bed so I had her read a book to me that she just started instead. But she was having a hard time concentrating on it because Braxton didn't want to read and she thought it was unfair so they started bugging each other and switching off who was going to read. My plan didn't work to get them to settle down. I have been praying for patience with them at bed time cause it usually ends up in a battle and I get frustrated and yell and occasionally spank if it gets to bad which I really hate doing and is my very last resort if nothing else works.
Braxton went to bed just fine we said our prayers and I stayed in the room while Kenzie was in my room screaming for me, but I knew if I went in there I would get mad so I just let her yell until she came in her room. She was still crying and refusing to go to bed so I carried her to her bed and asked if she wanted to say her prayer, I told her that we already said ours but she could say hers and she started crying even more because we said ours with out her. I told her that she could have joined us but she was throwing a temper tantrum, she asked if I would say another prayer and of course I did then she said hers. Once she was done saying her prayers she busted out crying uncontrollably, I asked her what was wrong and she said she was mean and sorry for being mean I told her she wasn't mean just tired and she kept telling me she was mean, I had to keep reassuring her that she wasn't mean and she doesn't need to apologize she just needed to go to bed so she could get rest and have a good day the following morning.
I think it is so sweet that she understands people's feelings and is aware when she isn't making the right choices whether she is tired or not. It does make me feel bad when she is sorry for what she does even when she isn't being bad. But it is nice to know that she knows right from wrong.

Myleigh is 2 months
I can't believe Myleigh is already 2 months were did the time go? We just love having her here and all the love that she brings to her family. She loves to smile and she loves to talk or coo. If you talk to her she will talk right back, some of the time and depending who is talking to her. (She loves her Aunt Jerica and will talk to her). She has mastered holding her head up. And she is trying to roll over.
Here are some pictures of her at 2 months old hope you enjoy the precious pictures of our little bundle of joy as much as we do.
Sweet little feet

And her little hands
She is figuring out her tongue so when I stick my tongue out at her she will stick her tongue right back at me it is so cute, I just can't get enough of her and her precious spirit.

My precious baby

Tyler's cousin Rachel took some amazing photo's of Myleigh they turned out so adorable and perfect. I couldn't of asked for better pictures. She truly has talent Thank you Rachel.

Myleigh blessing

We started the weekend off at the Zoo we went with the hope kids and they did it after hours so the group got the whole Zoo to ourselves. The kids were able to get there face painted and they looked so cute. After we went and saw the animals and the new exhibit was really neat. The kids had so much fun running around looking at all the animals, what a great way to start the weekend/summer off.

Saturday was one of the spiritual days we had this weekend, it was the weekend Neal decided to get rebaptized even though it was short and sweet you could feel the spirit there, before it started there was a big bang of lightning and during the prayer it poured rain like the heavens were opening and tears of Joy of Laurie (Neals mom) was coming down, and then it stopped and the sun shined right back up. Jay (Neal's dad) was able to baptized him again. Neal asked Kenzie, Braxton and Jackson to sing "When I get baptized" but Kenzie was the only one that would so she sang a solo I was pretty excited that she was brave enough to do it by herself.
(You may have to listen closely she sang quietly)
Saturday night we were able to watch Jackson get promoted to a brown belt in karate he has excelled so much and his nun chuck skills are amazing he can maneuver them around so quickly, watch out world. Way to go Jackson keep up the hard work.Sunday we decided to bless Myleigh also that was the same day Shontel decided to bless Adaly so we went to Shontel's church first and Amorim blessed her. Then we had to get to our church by 11 to make it, so Tyler could bless Myleigh. Tyler did so good being this was his first baby blessing, yes he was nervous but you couldn't tell. I am so thankful that he holds the priesthood now and can preform all the wonderful blessings. We ended the weekend with a nice luncheon with family, can I just say what an amazing weekend we had.
