Dentist

Braxton had his first dentist appointment. Yes I know I'm a little late on taking him to the dentist, but I finally got him there and I was worried he would be scared and not want to sit in the chair or open his mouth. He did amazing he sat down in the chair, I had to hold his hand at first but then he sat there like a big boy and opened his mouth, he let them clean his teeth and floss them. Then the dentist came and counted his teeth he has 10 on top and 10 on bottom. He got a goody bag with a buzz tooth brush and tooth paste which he was excited about. The best part was he has no cavities. Way to go Braxton!!!!!!

Time Flies

Today Myleigh is a month old, man it feels like I just had her and came home from the hospital. She has been such a delight to have. What a miracle to be able to have a baby and watch them grow I love every minute of it even when she is grumpy.
She can now hold her head up really well by her self, she loves tummy time she falls asleep when she is on her tummy and can sleep for hours. She has a good grasp on things when she can get a hold of your hair or fingers watch out lol.
I love the fact that she smiles so much now, even in her sleep it is so sweet to just sit and watch her for hours even if she isn't doing anything.

We have a picture of Jesus hanging by our couch and every time Myleigh sees the picture she just grins from ear to ear and if she is crying and looks at it she stops and just stares. It makes me wonder if newborns remember heaven and Jesus and what it is like and if the veil has not yet covered there eyes.

It is amazing what a sweet spirit that enters the house when you have a newborn, I think that is what Heaven is going to be like, not to mention the smell of a new born, that is one of my favorites.
